PHAEDRA
PHAEDRA
The adaptation of Phaedra, based on Racine’s neoclassical tragedy of erotic obsession, was a collaboration with the Creation Production Co., and was written and directed by Matthew Maguire. The setting is the home of a family that controls the country’s most powerful multi-national corporation—a place where power and eroticism converge. The changing locations of the bourgeois interior are anamorphic images rear projected onto folding screens that take a variety of configurations.
